FIRE RESTRICTION IN EFFECT – MAY 7, 2025 Due to dry conditions, the Province of Alberta has issued a fire restriction for the Peace Forest Protection Area. In line with Bylaw No. 285-24, Clear Hills County has also implemented a fire restriction across the County. Not Allowed: Open burning, Fireworks or exploding targets, Fires outside approved devices. Allowed: Safe wood campfires on private land including provincial campgrounds with a designated fire ring, Backyard firepits.
