Development Officer

(Maternity Leave Position)

Clear Hills County is currently seeking a full-time Development Officer who will have the following responsibilities:

Receive and process all permit applications and approval letters.
Maintain a working knowledge of Municipal Government Act, Land Use Bylaw and County policies and procedures.
Follow-up on work stop orders and similar orders of action.
Refer matters and make recommendations to Municipal Planning Commission as needed.
Assist in the establishment of development bylaws, policies & procedures.
Co-ordinate the implementation of Hamlet Area Structure Plans.
Receive and process all subdivision applications and approval letters.
