We are excited to announce an opportunity to become an Agricultural Service Board Member at large in Clear Hills County!
This position is available to fill a vacancy and will run until the municipal election cycle in October 2025. If you have a passion for agriculture and want to contribute to the development and promotion of agricultural policies that meet the needs of our municipality, this is your chance to make a difference!
The ASB, formed under the Agricultural Service Board Act, serves as an advisory board to Council. As an ASB member, you will play a crucial role in shaping agricultural policies and ensuring they align with the requirements of our community. In addition, you will administer and enforce important provincial agricultural-related Acts, including the Weed Control Act, Agricultural Pest Act, and Soil Conservation Act.
