Clear Hills County Awards: Recognize Outstanding Contributions in Our Community!

Clear Hills County proudly celebrates excellence in our community with four award categories:

1. Business Awards
2. Volunteer Awards
3. Outstanding Youth Awards
4. Outstanding Recreation Facility Award

Nominations for the Clear Hills County Awards are open until December 1st annually. All winners will be recognized at the Clear Hills County Annual Appreciation Banquet, held on the first Saturday in February, or as directed by Council.

Business of the Year Awards Categories:

1. Community Service/Involvement Award
   • Recognizes a business that has significantly contributed to the community through financial support or volunteerism. The successful nominee will have shown a strong commitment to community engagement and positively impacted Clear Hills County.
2. Innovation Award: New Business, Product, Service, or Work System
   • Celebrates a business that has been in operation for three years or less, or one that has introduced a new product, service, or work system. The nominee should demonstrate innovation through new technology or unique approaches that give them a competitive edge.
3. Investment Award: Job Creation, Growth, & Expansion
   • Honors a business that has demonstrated long-term success and growth, along with exceptional service to the community. The business should be a recognized leader among peers and show significant contributions in job creation and economic development.

Volunteer of the Year Award:

• This award recognizes an outstanding individual who dedicates their time and talent to volunteer in the non-profit sector. The nominee should make a significant impact through commitment, creativity, leadership, and cooperation, benefiting both the organization and the wider community.
• Volunteer Criteria:
  • Significant unpaid volunteer hours.
  • Use of skills, talents, and energy to support non-profit organizations.
  • Positive impact on the organization and personal fulfillment for the volunteer.

Outstanding Youth Award:

• This category celebrates exceptional youth aged 14-18 within Clear Hills County who have shown outstanding achievements in academics, sports, leadership, or community involvement. It recognizes young individuals who are making a difference and inspiring others.

Outstanding Recreation Facility Award:

• This award honors a recreation facility that demonstrates exceptional achievements in areas such as efficiency, accessibility, design, and energy management. The facility should offer inclusive services for all abilities and income levels, show innovation in operations, and successfully meet the needs of the community.
