FIRE ADVISORY IN EFFECT – Peace River Forest Area
Due to warm, windy weather and dry grass conditions, a Fire Advisory is now in place.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Existing fire permits are still valid
- New permits will be issued case-by-case
- Fireworks and exploding targets are prohibited
- Safe campfires are still allowed
If you’ve done any burning over the winter or had a fire permit, please double-check those burn sites to make sure everything is fully extinguished. Hidden hotspots can reignite!
